IDP Education recently announced a new partnership agreement with GEMS Education, which will see IDP provide free expert support to GEMS Education high school students seeking post-secondary education internationally.
The new partnership will see high school students at GEMS Education have access to IDP Education services, such as course and university selection based on students’ individual needs and career goals. They will also have access to university application guidance, including top global opportunities, offer acceptance, pre-departure guidance, and IELTS testing services at IDP IELTS test centers in the UAE.
IDP Education will also assist students who have missed their grades or not yet applied to universities to find the best courses for them at leading universities and colleges around the world, as well as helping students to obtain quick offers thanks to IDP Education’s strong ties with these global institutions.
Rashi Bhattacharya, IDP Country Director for UAE, Oman, and Qatar, said: “IDP’s rich history spans over 50 years and, like GEMS Education, has deep, professional roots in the UAE. Our certified education counselors have helped over half a million international students gain admission into 700+ quality education institutions in the major English-speaking countries. Our success comes from keeping the students’ interest at the heart of everything we do.
“IDP support goes beyond offering unbiased advice and professional support to students and their parents. We understand that sending your child to study abroad is an important investment in their life. So, we make sure to provide the full picture and the most up-to-update knowledge about the universities, cities and job markets to help them make an informed decision and prepare for the future they want. We still have a lot more to offer to the community of students and their families in the UAE.”
GEMS Education CEO Dino Varkey said: “We are thrilled to announce this comprehensive partnership with IDP Education, a global leader in international education services. Thanks to this collaboration, our high school students, our alumni, and their parents will receive unparalleled support and guidance from vetted industry experts. IDP Education, our UniConnect partners for college and career counseling resources on a global scale, will be on hand at every step of our students’ pathway for academic and career success.”
