Peace. Joy. Giving. That’s what the holidays are all about.
Like many companies this time of year, we at IDP Connect love to show our partners we appreciate them. Traditionally, we’ve sent holiday gifts or cards as a token of this appreciation. While these gifts are enjoyable, we felt we could do more this year.
This season, in lieu of our traditional holiday gifts, we elected to donate to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in honor of our partners. With our donation, the IRC will be building four new classrooms in developing countries like South Sudan, Syria, and Lebanon, where conflict and displacement have left many children without access to education. As an education company ourselves, we felt it was a great opportunity to help provide educational spaces to children who are not traditionally afforded the chance. We believe this also aligns with our vision of helping students around the globe achieve their study dreams.
The International Rescue Committee is a globally renowned non-profit engaged in humanitarian aid, relief, and development. Founded by Albert Einstein, the IRC is highly rated and respected by both Charity Watch and Charity Navigator, ensuring that our donation will be handled with transparency and reliability. Operating in over 40 countries, the IRC’s footprint rivals that of IDP Connect and IDP Education and speaks to the impact that the organization makes around the world.
As you slow down to enjoy the holidays, we hope you share the spirit and perform an act of kindness for someone else this holiday season.
