Dharma joined IDP Connect in December 2022, after spending a little over 8 years overseeing the strategy, training and growth of the US destination and team in the IDP South Asia region. She has more than 21 years of professional experience in Education, Student Affairs, Admissions, Non-Profits, Leadership Trainings, and International Education in the US, Europe, and South Asia. She has also worked in different capacities in US universities such as the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Pennsylvania, and American University in Washington, D.C.
She completed her Bachelor’s in Sociology with a Certificate in Asian American Studies; followed by a Master’s in Counselling and Personnel Services (Higher Education Administration); and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA.
Dharma was born and raised in the UK and her immediate family resides in the USA. She considers herself a trans-national global nomad and third culture child and has worked India for almost 13 years.
